We finally got the weather window we needed to visit Andros, the only Island in the Bahamas with an abundance of fresh water. Here are photos of the Settlement of South Bight.
It was VERY quiet there.
Fresh Creek, north of South and Middle Bight, is home to the famous Androsia Batik Fabric company.
It was easy to spend money there.
The factory welcomed visitors and it was great seeing the fabric laid out and batiked.I'm sure Laverne was sick of me as I visited twice daily for a couple of days deciding on my purchases
We are now back in the Exumas waiting for the Barney's arrival.
